true Love is God personified. Love is a person; God. the world has a distorted meaning of Love. human love is always subject to condition, no matter how strong the love is. to truly Love as God and Jesus does,we must allow Him to love through us and learn of his ways in the gospels. another simple definition of love is selflessness…..the absent of self from actions. love is not an emotion or thought….its neither constantly thinking of someone, this is all part of love but not the full revealation of it. peace be with you all. i like the idea of your blog by the way.

Very philosophical, I like the way you think.
I hate how parents say, ‘Eat all your food, think about all those starving children around the world.’ Like me eating all my dinner is filling the bellies of children all around the world.
Or ‘Cheer up, at least you are not going through what A/B/C is going through.’ So I am supposed to replace my tears and anguish with a cheshire cat grin and laughter at the concept that at least I was not that poor sod?
Of course, it makes sense and I can understand what is meant but humans are not conditioned to behave like this.
Sadness, happiness, etc is all relative.
Money, fame, success or popularity does not necessarily change all circumstances for everyone.
When you have everything on a plate, what you want changes, as you say. What can you get someone who has everything? Often things have less worth, and are appreciate less. Buying a new dress in a department store for a party is not exciting anymore. Life’s little pleasures are not fun anymore. And sometimes people can become thrill seekers and big risk takers, losing their grip on reality and what’s really important.

Not justifying Tiger or any other similar famous men, but their warped self belief in invincibility and general boredom/lack of satisfaction of their presumably lacking lives may have driven them to do what they did.
Just a theory….

Very true, life is short, and everything is relative. Loving the Einstein quotes by the way!
It doesn’t matter if we spent a considerable amount of time doing things that are perceived as a useless waste of time so long as to US, we are not wasting our time.
Our life is our own and it is up to us what we do with any second we have on this earth, so long as we can live with the consequences and don’t delude ourselves that playing halo 20 hours a day, 365 days a year is our God given right and reason for existence.
I like your hint at the hypothetical potential of the fruitfulness of idle sleep. Somebody’s a bum! haha! jokes

Everyone says, ‘Love will find you when you least expect it’, and yet we are not so docile with the other things that matter in our lives. So why love?
If you want love and look for it, you will attract it, just like I you are implying here.
Love won’t stay where it’s wanted, nor will love knock on your door, walk up your stairs, open your room, wake you up and jump into your lap.
And God is a pretty good place to find everlasting love, lot ‘LOVE’ as we know it today, where it is just a word, ultimately meaningless.
